Justin DeVore

Instructor Justin DeVore is a dedicated blacksmith who finds joy in creating functional, durable items for the home, yard, and shop. Justin’s focus is on hand-forging pieces that are both practical and beautifully made, blending traditional techniques with a modern approach.

Prior to teaching blacksmithing, Justin was an adult instructor in the Civil Engineering field for 20 years. 

Justin is passionate about helping people discover the satisfaction of crafting something with their own hands. Watching students grow in skill and confidence brings me a deep sense of fulfillment. In this way, he feels that he is contributing to building a creative and skilled community. Justin teaches private and group classes in Tempe and  also out of his own shop in Deer Valley where he teaches Iron Rhino Forge classes.
